Community Supported Agriculture (CSA)

Are you familiar with Community Supported Agriculture (CSA)? As the first hints of spring appear here in Chicago, I look forward to when we are able to get organically and locally grown fruits and vegetables. A great way to support your local farmer and eat seasonally is by participating in a CSA. Here's more info:

I have chosen, again, to participate with Tomato Mountain Farm, a 12 acre certified organic farm in Brooklyn, Wisconsin (near Madison). Farmer Chris Covelli takes great pride in his produce, and the result is the best tasting berries, tomatoes, greens, carrots, shallots, onions, potatoes, and much more! Find out more about Tomato Mountain at http://www.tomatomountain.com/ It's not too soon to sign up, and he offers early sign up discounts!

And, in addition to enjoying the fruits and vegetables from Tomato Mountain Farm, FlowersFlowers will be one of the pick up sites!
